Puzzle Tree Academy is an educational support and therapy centre.
It serves as a hub for young people and families with children on the autism spectrum, providing a space for learning and developing personal and life skills.
Our understanding of neurodiversity, both from personal experience and working with numerous families, is that it is a spectrum of conditions requiring a holistic approach.
We strive to provide practical solutions, inspiration, education, and shared stories to the neurodiverse community.
Our focus is on facilitating personal, academic, and social development for unconventional and "puzzling" minds.
Our goal is to create a genuinely neurodiverse, inclusive & inspiring alternative education platform in the UK & Europe.
At Puzzle Tree Academy, we provide a holistic approach. We look at each person's lifestyle and make sure the basics are strong before moving on. We also make sure new skills stick and, if needed, we refer to other experts.
Unlike others who only look at specific autism issues, we adopt a Nourishing Personal Growth Philosophy. Our approach includes a range of services like mentoring, advocacy, education, and resources. We offer extensive support, from education to assistance at home.
We prioritize manageable and sustainable solutions. We know that young people with development delays need a solid base to build other skills in a lasting way.

I was once asked what inspired me to start this business.
Olga Pavlova, Puzzle Tree Academy Founder.
I am a mother to four daughters. One of them has ADHD, and another has autism. My daughter's autism was highly advanced and complex to manage. When her symptoms began to manifest, they completely took over my life. I became a single mother with four kids, and I knew I had to figure out a way to support my child's unique needs, look after my other children, and survive.
I began to delve deeply into how I could help myself and what I could do with what I had. So, I trained in special education, autism, speech delay, and other modalities. I also attended a coaching academy to become a coach for teenagers and families dealing with autism.
I soon realized that the services and resources available to parents and young people with autism are often disjointed and fragmented, with specialists in every area but nowhere to go for more integrated and holistic support.
Many parents, including single ones (as raising a child with autism can strain relationships), handle the weight of research, appointments, and travel alone. Add to that the financial demands of specialist treatments and services, which leave parents feeling isolated and overwhelmed.
I wanted to make a difference, to ease the unique yet wonderfully rewarding challenge of caring for a child on the spectrum for parents.
In partnership with nutritional neuroscientist Dr. Irina Schurov, a specialist in neurodiversity, we established a support group for parents of young people with autism. We outlined various phases to assist our families, acknowledging that the process can be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding.
One problem we noted was that while specialists often focus on how to 'solve' a specific issue, they don't always consider the root cause of these challenges or the effects on the child's home life.
This approach is problematic because these narrow techniques won't work if there's toxicity, instability, or unhealthy habits at home. As a result, the child's progress could be slow or stop altogether. If things at home aren't stable, the child might start to struggle again, and their skills could suffer.
